Raised on the sun-soaked beaches of Tenerife and first inspired by Frankfurt's underground rave scene in 2010, Ricky Flux honed his craft in Amsterdam's storied club circuit. With vinyl at his fingertips, he brings that 'fiestita' spirit from Spain into every set, weaving minimalistic house into ro-minimal inflections, deep-house grooves, electro-infused latin-sparked rhythms, and dub textures.
A graduate of Abbey Road Institute and trained sound engineer, Ricky treats each DJ performance as raw material and an opportunity to experiment, combining different sounds and grooves that serve as the foundation for his productions.
More than a DJ or producer, Ricky Flux is a sonic storyteller, building community, uplifting underground culture, and intentions of leaving a lasting mark on dancefloors from Amsterdam and Canary Islands to stages around the world.
